Purbeck
stone can be cropped to a guaged width front to back,
which makes it perfect for cavity construction and facing
to blockwork. It
has a natural split, roughly squared face and is very
traditional in appearance. It is laid random coursed, and
sometimes jumpers (larger stones) are laid aprox 1 - 3
per m2. Larger stones can also be laid as quoins &
jambs. Cills and lintols can be made to order.
