Polished Purbeck Stone
Purbeck Grub from our California Quarry is a rare and beautiful Natural limestone. This layer of stone is only around 250 mm thick and of that 250 mm, only around 110 mm is usable. The largest slabs we quarry are approximately two metres by one metre, and this size of slab is the exception rather than the rule. There is to our knowledge no other source of this material in the world other than the Isle of Purbeck and within the Isle of Purbeck the Grub quarried at our California Quarry is of the finest quality. The colour and depth of polish achieved with this material is incredible. Full of fossil shells the high gloss polish must be seen to be truly appreciated. Please contact us for further details.
